Dr. Teresa Knott

For nearly 20 years, Dr. Teresa Knott has served as a dentist near Wylie who enjoys caring for patients of all ages. Her decision to incorporate the newest technologies into her Town Center Dental practice allows her to deliver exceptional oral healthcare services based on the needs of her patients. With her calming and friendly chairside manner, it’s no surprise that so many individuals continue to place their smile in her capable and talented hands.

As a child, she was drawn to the field of healthcare and accepted the opportunity to serve as a dental assistant when asked by her childhood dentist. Discovering her love of dentistry early on, she continued to work for him until it was time to leave for college.

After spending some time at a local junior college, she transferred to Texas A&M University and graduated in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Recognizing her true passion remained with dentistry, she enrolled at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating in 2003 with her dental degree.

Once she completed dental school, she worked as an associate in the Dallas Metroplex and eventually opened Town Center Dental in 2006. Since then, she has continued to study and learn as much as she can about the field and its various specialties. Currently, she is a member of the Texas Study Club and regularly attends classes offered by SPEAR Education.

As a busy mother of three boys, you’ll often find Dr. Knott with her sons, Aiden, Patrick, and Kyle. As their biggest cheerleader, she’s always watching and supporting them at their sporting events and games. However, in her “downtime,” she also enjoys reading (her favorite being murder mystery thrillers), painting, and walking her Labrador, Lacey.
